I’m a big dork…for many reasons. One of them is for being SO excited about learning how to edit photos. Not that I really know how, but I’ve found that after pressing buttons and sliding this and that, eventually I like the way a picture looks. And this my friends, excites me.

Here’s a shot from a wedding I attended last weekend Lake Tahoe, California. The ceremony location was gorgeous. Almost as gorgeous as the lucky couple.

What a difference, right? I couldn’t even see the cute couple before.

A few weekends ago I went to my local mom and pop bookstore in town. To my surprise, Dave Keane, the book author of 8 fantastic children’s books was there signing away and celebrating his latest release, Sloppy Joe. Now you see, I met Dave before he was a famous author. I used to work for him and his wife helping them clean their house and care for their three children. All of whom are older now. One is even in high school and she claimed she didn’t remember me from when we used to play 7 years ago.

Anywho, I had him sign a few of his Sloppy Joe books and a few of his other silly story, Bobby Bramble Looses His Brain. Both books are a hoot and I can only imagine how a child would react when they’d read this story or have the book read to them. Hint – your child will laugh. Dave is a really funny guy and his sense of humor and wittiness definitely comes out in his work.

Do you have a person in your home that leaves it’s shoes on the floor in the middle of the dining room? It’s a miracle that I have not lost a toe or an ankle tripping over these monsters.
